Hyvinkää day care services provide care, early childhood education and teaching for 0–6-year-olds, and pre-primary education in accordance with the Basic Education Act for 6-year-olds. Day care is also a social service for parents of small children, because it enables working and studying.
Parents with children under three years old can choose between home care allowance, private day care allowance and municipal day care.
Emphasising the child's point of view is the key in both planning day care and in the early childhood education.
